Rowing and canoeing
Cuevas del Almanzora, sub venue in the 15th Mediterranean Games. The town is ready to host the rowing and canoeing events in its reservoir. A special competition canal will be built based on an environmental project that will help the city become an important leisure and recreation area.

The facility will have a surface of 132,000 sq m, and will feature a temporary stand and other areas such as a sheltered boat park and a race tower room.

The facilities will have some specific rooms for the Games, such as a press room, VIP lounge, federation office, check room, doping control station and volunteers room.

Golf
The Desert Spring golf brings to Cuevas del Almanzora and its surrounding area a brand-new tourist attraction that is both original and unique, as it is the only desert golf course in Europe.

Skin diving
Diving in Cuevas: underwater exploration in Cuevas.
The best way of enjoying another of the tourist attraction of the area is underwater exploration. Diving into these waters is to penetrate a world of incredible beauty in which an unspoiled ecosystem can be observed with its great variety of marine plants and animals.
